Service status
The Decision Instrument MCP service can be connected in developer mode. It is separate from any ChatGPT directory listing; OpenAI approval and a subsequent Kaizen publication decision are required before any directory availability claim.
Judgment remains human responsibility
The Decision Instrument is designed to make evidence, assumptions, constraints, and readiness more legible. It does not make a decision for you and is not legal, financial, medical, employment, safety, or other professional advice. Material claims, approvals, and actions remain the responsibility of the relevant human operator.
Service boundary
The service returns bounded context, analysis, and next-move guidance. It does not execute arbitrary code, send messages, access external accounts, or make final decisions. Availability, temporary state retention, and service behavior may change or be withdrawn as needed for security or reliability.
Relationship to the field guide
The product is inspired by, but separate from, The Decision Instrument field guide. It does not reproduce the book or make the field guide an automated decision authority. For questions, visit the Decision Instrument support page.
