The Northern Cascadia Institute develops and publishes the NC-AI (Northern Cascadia - Artificial Intelligence) standards series, a collection of practical AI governance standards and risk management templates aligned with international frameworks like ISO 42001:2023.

Our standards are designed specifically for smaller organizations, remote communities, and regional businesses that need practical, accessible AI governance tools. Each standard includes templates, guidelines, and implementation resources.
